Disclosure: This exploration post is about a parcel that I personally run.
I created the first Second Life Ankylosing Spondylitis Awareness Centre a year ago and since then we’ve had somewhere in the region of 1,200 visitors. We’ve also been through a few different iterations as I’ve found buildings that interested me.
As we move into Walk Your AS Off month and get closer to World Ankylosing Spondylitis Awareness Day I decided to have another changearound. We’ve moved into a small village market square that looks similar to the hamlet of Vile Chapel (using buildings and decor from Dysfunctionality Designs). At the moment we have a building dedicated to Diagnosis, one that looks at Non-Pharmaceutical (exercise) based treatments, Pharmaceutical treatments, and we’re about to introduce a new stall dedicated to diet.
Along with the café, office, and break area, we’re also going to introduce a library which will provide links to medical research papers as well as other useful texts such as the NICE guidance. I’m hoping that we’ll have some spare prims and that I’ll be able to open up a couple of the stalls for shops to set up.
